Owner Mike Emery is a United States Marine Corps veteran who runs his business with the same disciple he employed after being meritoriously promoted to sergeant before his second deployment to Iraq. He grew up in Rockland County and continues to be an active member of the community. He is a volunteer firefighter with the Valley Cottage Fire Department, sponsors the Nyack Valley Cottage Little League and is active in the Suffern chapter of the Boy Scouts.. He has been working in the asphalt business since 2008 and continues to be passionate about his trade.
